The heart and mind are the true lens of the camera.
As a Director of Photography, I’m the one photographing with a motion picture camera (the art and science of which is known as cinematography). The title is used to designate a chief over the camera and lighting crews working on a film, responsible for achieving artistic and technical decisions related to the image. The term “cinematographer” applies when the director of photography and camera operator are the same person.
Three things are necessary to become a good director of photography: training, experience, and a good eye. I’m also a director whose skills include sound design and filmmaking.

SHORT FORM EDIT
This style of filmmaking is more about telling a story of the day, anchored on an event, using timeshift techniques to bring emotion and style to your wedding film. It takes a lot of work to create a genuinely impressive Short Form, and they take longer to edit than more traditional films. As the name suggests, the short-form edit is shorter than a traditional film. Short-form edits can run from 20 to 40 minutes.
A Short Form Edit has all the critical elements of the day; the emotions are more profound than in a traditional film and can be easily watched in several different formats. This is the greatest challenge for an editor. Done right, a short-form film is the ultimate event film that can be watched many times and inspired on every viewing.
